Our Biltong is made with No Preservatives and requires a few extra steps to store correctly.
Here are a few tips:

If you are going to eat the Biltong within 3-4 days of being sliced, we
recommend storing it the fridge, in the paper bags provided. If you live in a
high humidity climate, we recommend storing it in the freezer. See Below.

If you want your Biltong to last longer than 4 days, we highly recommend
portioning the Biltong into ZipLock Plastic bags and storing them in the freezer,
preferably in a plastic container with a lid. This will ensure the product is safe
to eat whenever you want. Recommended Storage Time: 6 Months

To Defrost the Biltong, we recommend leaving it out on the counter and it will
defrost within an hour, consume within one day after defrosting and do not refreeze.
